Chelsea

Chelsea: adult female, spayed, large, domestic shorthair, tortoise shell

Chelsea had been living on the street for a couple of years before coming to Polly's Place. While she craves attention, it must be on her terms. She loves to have her head scratched but is a little moody...we can all relate. Chelsea is FIV and FeLV negative.

Toby

Toby adult male, neutered, large, domestic shorthair, tuxedo

Toby is a little conflicted... he really wants attention but isn't too confident yet.  It takes a patient person to bring Toby out of his shell, but once he's out he loves to be scratched behind the ears and be part of the gang. He loves being with other cats and has taught himself how to open doors so he can enjoy everyone's company.  Toby is FIV and FeLV negative.

spayed.  She was found on the streets of North Bergen.  Hope

loves people, attention, warm laps, and being held.

George

George: adult male, neutered, large, domestic shorthair, gray and white tabby...picture coming soon!

George was rescued in Hoboken by a man who couldn't keep him.  He's friendly, playful, and very lonely for the company of others.  He also likes to nibble on peoples hands, which is probably a result of being played with with hands rather than toys. Unfortunately, George is FIV positive, but is FeLV negative.  This means he should be with other FIV cats.  There is a lot of research available about FIV so before you count George out, read up and meet him.  It's well worth it!
